2016-2017 Internship Program
Values Partnerships uses the power of faith-based and community partnerships to solve problems and change the world.
You will join a small team of consultants, applying your skills to a range of administrative and substantive tasks for clients in the government, non-profit, faith, advocacy, and entertainment space. You will assist with drafting, editing, and preparing written content as well as performing various outreach and client follow-up tasks. You may be asked to office needs as they arise. You will be included in regular staff meetings and occasional client meetings; working closely with Scott Buckhout and Courtney Brown who will provide program support.
Responsibilities and detailed projects will be determined based on your educational background, interest and skills.
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program and maintaining student status throughout the program.
Returning to education on a full-time basis upon completing the internship.
Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 weeks (one semester) at Values Partnerships.
Previous experience and/or interest in digital communications, social media, business consulting, advocacy, or community building.
You will be expected to work at least three days a week for at least five hours a day at a rate of $15 an hour. The details and schedule for each fellow will be set on a case-by-case basis.
Housing will NOT be provided. You should be prepared to find housing arrangements in the Washington, DC metro region for the duration of the program.
You will use your own computer and/or cell phone; however, should assistance be need because the applicant doesn’t own a computer or phone, please note that on your application.
The Fellows program at Values Partnerships runs over two semesters, Fall and Spring, extendable by mutual agreement of the fellow and Values Partnerships.

You can expect to receive notification about the status of your application within two weeks. Finalists will participate in a phone interview and/or an in-person meeting in Washington, DC with various members of the Values Partnerships team.
